Seirei no Moribito 13

Episode title: Neither man nor Tiger
Rating: 9/10
Reason for rating: Great episode, although I wasn’t sure why Balsa went against everything as I will say below.

In this episode of Seirei no moribito Balsa receives a letter from a warrior asking to fight him, and if she runs each day the first person that crosses the passing will die. The warrior hired a stone shooter and shot the horse of two travelers as a warning. Balsa then takes on the roll of a body guard for the two people crossing without them knowing. When they stop at a hut for rest in the middle of the night the traveler tells Balsa a story of a warrior who once was looking to be the greatest warrior of all time. But gaining all the strength he turned into a tiger losing the power of speech he lost his friends and family and lived alone for the rest of his life in the forest. The tension in the hut caused Balsa to decide to sleep outside so the travelers would be more comfortable.

During the night the stone shooter shot stones every once in a while to disable Balsa from sleeping. In the morning when they are setting off the travelers ask why she has to follow them and she explains the situation. She then decides that she must fight the warrior.

Balsa decides that she cannot go on forever without killing so she kills the warrior or so she thinks and said she must become a tiger. (Now thats one thing I don’t get about anime characters xD Out of nowhere they decide to go against everything they set out to do lol <.<)

The fighting is probably my favorite fight scene in this series so far. Intense fighting with great animation as usual. Lasting about 3 minutes. From what this episode said and showed I think the series is going to be picking up even faster.
